Trip Puzzle is a calming mobile experience born from the universal satisfaction of sorting, packing, and organizing. As the lead Product Designer and Game Artist, I spearheaded the project from its initial concept through to final execution. My mission was to bridge the gap between high-end aesthetic appeal and effortless playability, ensuring every interaction felt like a reward rather than a chore.

The central challenge of this project was crafting a balance between mental engagement and pure relaxation. We asked ourselves how to build a game that felt intuitive for all ages, particularly seniors, without sacrificing the charm and depth that casual gamers crave. By merging a global travel theme with tactile feedback, I developed a visual language that feels both nostalgic and modern.

Our process was grounded in real-world insights. Through market analysis and in-person testing with both casual players and older adults, we discovered that success lived in the details. This led to the implementation of high-contrast visuals, oversized touch targets, and ASMR-inspired audio cues that significantly boosted player retention. I personally illustrated over 100 custom assets, icons, and animations, all wrapped in a lighthearted travel narrative that invites players to explore the world one suitcase at a time. Trip Puzzle stands as a testament to the power of accessible design, proving that clarity and beauty can exist in perfect harmony.
