Soccer Party was designed from the ground up to be a high-energy, physics-based casual sports game that bridges the gap between competitive play and social accessibility. My role as the Product Designer and Game Artist was to establish a cohesive visual language that felt both premium and “toy-like,” ensuring the game felt instantly approachable for a broad audience. The core challenge was integrating a dynamic 3D world with a polished, high-contrast 2D interface across every screen, creating a unified universe where every tap and every goal celebration felt tactile, impactful, and alive.

The heart of Soccer Party lies in its chaotic, high-stakes matches where physics and unpredictable power-ups collide. I designed the in-game HUD to remain minimal and unobtrusive, allowing the vibrant 3D world to take center stage. To elevate the “party” atmosphere, I integrated dynamic gift boxes that spawn throughout the field, triggering game-altering effects such as player enlargement, speed boosts, and even explosive obstacles. This layer of unpredictability ensures that no two matches feel the same, rewarding quick reflexes and strategic use of the environment.

Beyond the pitch, Soccer Party’s engagement loop is driven by a deep meta-game centered on character customization and dynamic social events. The Home screen acts as a central hub where players can track special events, climb the rankings, and open card packs to unlock rare collectibles. In the “Customize” suite, I developed a grid-based inventory system that allows players to easily mix and match hats, eyes, skins, and soccer balls. By combining a satisfying card-opening sequence with hundreds of expressive items, we created a rewarding, cohesive loop that encourages players to invest time and express their unique identity.

Multiplayer is the heart of Soccer Party, and the project demanded a frictionless user journey. I prioritized the “Play vs Friends” flow, designing a streamlined lobby system that allows players to jump into a match via a simple six-digit code or a direct invite link, effectively removing traditional barriers to entry. The gameplay itself is a mix of strategic physics and unpredictable power-ups; dynamic gift boxes spawn special effects like giant goals and speed boosts, ensuring every match is unique. The UX for celebrating a “GOOOL!” highlights the unique, personalized 3D avatar on a dramatic win screen, which serves as the ultimate social flex.
