Fishing Maps is an app designed for anglers in Spain, helping them discover fishing spots, monitor real-time water levels, and access up-to-date regulations. The goal was to create a platform that is both functional and delightful to use, making every step of the fishing experience easier and more intuitive.
The logo merges a fish with a location pin, symbolizing the app’s core purpose: finding and navigating fishing spots. The calming blue color palette evokes the tranquility of water while keeping the interface clear and focused. Montserrat was chosen as the typeface to enhance readability and give the app a clean, modern feel.
The UX/UI design emphasizes simplicity and smooth user flow. I focused on crafting an interface that is visually pleasing while minimizing distractions, allowing users to effortlessly navigate maps, explore fishing spots, and track their activity. Custom icons and a streamlined navigation experience ensure the app feels cohesive and enjoyable at every step, balancing functionality with a clear, engaging design.
