The studio has a large catalog of popular games. To increase engagement and introduce a new revenue stream, we needed to move from individual game purchases to a single, unified “Studio Pass” (the “Edujoy+” subscription). The core requirement was that a user should be able to launch any game they own and access the entire library from within it. The UI had to be simple enough for a child to navigate and absolutely transparent to respect the parent/kid dynamic and avoid dark patterns.

The process began with structural wireframing to establish a layout that remained intuitive across both orientations. By focusing on gray-box logic first, I ensured that navigation and “thumb zones” were accessible regardless of how the device was held. This foundational step was critical for mapping a seamless flow between individual games and the broader studio library.

In the high-fidelity phase, I layered in a vibrant, tactile UI optimized for younger motor skills. I integrated recognizable character art to create an inviting atmosphere while refining the Edujoy+ screen to prioritize clarity. The transition from wireframe to prototype focused on literal communication and high-contrast elements, ensuring the subscription felt like a safe and exciting upgrade for both kids and parents.
