Laugh&Learn is a game app designed to offer kids a fun, interactive experience while they learn through mini-games. The app helps children explore key concepts like numbers, colors, letters, and words, all while having fun. Following the brand’s identity guidelines, I ensured the design was simple, smooth, and intuitive, making it easy for kids to navigate and engage with.

Following the brand’s identity guidelines, the visual design focuses on flat, bright colors, simple shapes and cheerful animations. The interface was intentionally kept smooth, minimal and intuitive, making it easy for kids to navigate independently and stay engaged without confusion or frustration.
The app follows a freemium model, allowing children to access a selection of basic games for free, with the option to unlock additional content.

Parental Control Screen
To ensure the best user experience possible and maintain a user-centered design, we added a parental control screen to prevent accidental purchases. This feature helps safeguard all transactions, giving parents peace of mind while their kids enjoy the app.

Special attention was also given to content discovery and engagement flow. I designed a system that encourages kids to continue discovering new games without interrupting the fun. After a certain number of rounds, a set amount of playtime, or periods of inactivity, a friendly popup appears suggesting a new mini game to explore. The design of these prompts is kept minimal and playful, allowing kids to interact easily and stay focused on play.

The mini games themselves are built around simple mechanics and positive feedback, helping children learn through experimentation and repetition. Activities include making music on a xylophone, grooming a friendly horse, flying an airplane to collect specific letters, colors or shapes, and doing the groceries to practice recognition and categorization. Each experience is short, clear and tailored to young attention spans.

Overall, Laugh&Learn demonstrates a child-centered design approach that combines clear UX, playful UI and thoughtful interaction design to create a safe, engaging and joyful learning environment — one mini game at a time.

In addition to the in-app experience, promotional materials were created to support the launch and visibility of the app. This included assets for the App Store, Google Play, and online marketing campaigns. All promotional visuals were developed in close alignment with the brand team to ensure consistency, approval, and full adherence to the established brand identity. The materials maintained the same flat, bright visual language and playful tone as the app itself, helping create a cohesive experience across product and marketing touchpoints.
